About the Course
The rapid evolution of the imaging techniques has an impact on many areas of radiology, but few more profoundly than the fields of oncology. The teaching course will focus on the clinical role of imaging in patients with cancer and new techniques that will aid clinical decision-making and improve outcome. Besides the State-of-the-Art cancer imaging the course will focus on different imaging biomarkers in the pre- and posttreatment evaluation as well as in treatment response evaluation. Workshops will focus on image postprocessing, computer aided detection and image perception, including "how-to-do" workshops and solving radiological dilemmas and evaluting Head and Neck cancer cases.
This course is going to address the needs of a wide group of individuals involved in the management of tumors including radiologists as well as clinicians.
Budapest is a charming and historical city, several parts of the town belong to the UNESCO World Heritage. The meeting will be held in the historical Castle District of Buda, in Hotel Hilton, with some of the most beautiful sights in the immediate neighbourhood and breathtaking views over the River Danube, allowing the ideal combination of education and social interaction.
