Professor
Janet Husband, OBE, Co-Founder and First President of
ICIS, became President of the U.K.’s Royal College
of Radiologists in September and made a little piece
of history as their first woman president. The Royal
College of Radiologists has more than 6,300 members
from around the world, all of them registered medical
or dental practitioners.
Professor Husband has just completed a year as President
of the British Institute of Radiology and continues
her tireless promotion of the vital role of radiology
in the increasingly multidisciplinary approach to medicine.
Professor Husband commented, “My career in radiology
has spanned incredible advances in radiology. I wish
I was 30 again, because the next 30 years of imaging
will be just as exciting.”
