ICIS interactive - Masterclass in Imaging of Hepatobiliary Tumours
A stimulating and engaging learning experience
This one-day teaching course will be limited to 40 participants, each with their own imaging workstation and content delivered through lectures and hands-on case-based learning.
Each ICIS interactive course is designed to provide the best educational experience, which is achieved with the help of our expert international faculty drawn from the ICIS fellowship and other invited speakers. A maximum of 20 delegates per classroom, ensuring fully interactive learning. Mentored review of 35 to 40 cases on workstations, with each case chosen with specific learning points and an ICISi workbook to reinforce learning.
Masterclass in Imaging of hepatobiliary tumours will highlight the discriminatory imaging features of focal liver lesions in the normal, cirrhotic and cancer patients. State-of-the-art MR imaging of cholangiocarcinoma will be reviewed, as well as morphological/functional imaging assessment of tumour response to treatment.
With grateful acknowledgement of our Society Corporate Supporters Siemens Healthinieers and Guerbet.
Reviewing cases with the experts
The ICIS Interactive series is designed as an advanced cancer imaging course for Radiologists, who would like to gain deeper understanding into the imaging of specific cancer areas. The courses in this series have been rated excellent by many participants.
The course is limited to 40 participants, split between two parallel workshops running concurrently. Each 1.5 hour session will commence with a short lecture followed by mentored review of carefully selected cases on individual workstations. A comprehensive workbook is provided to enhance learning.
The faculty comprises four experts in Hepatobiliary Tumours who will each focus on a particular aspect to provide practical and relevant information for clinical practice. This includes CT and MRI evaluation of focal liver lesions in the normal, cirrhotic and cancer patient; MRI assessment of cholangiocarcinoma, as well as tumour response assessment using RECIST, modified RECIST and functional imaging (diffusion MRI, dynamic contrast enhanced MRI).
Royal College of Radiologists accreditation has been applied for.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of Siemens Healthineers and Guerbet for this course.
