ICIS interactive Masterclass in Imaging of Prostate Cancer - *second edition*

A stimulating and engaging learning experience

This highly commended one-day teaching course will be limited to 20 participants per classroom.  Each delegate will have their own imaging workstation and content delivered through lectures and hands-on case-based learning.

Each ICIS interactive course is designed to provide the best educational experience, which is achieved through:

  ·  An expert international faculty drawn from the ICIS fellowship and other invited speakers
  ·  Small group fully interactive learning with maximum of 20 delegates per classroom
  ·  Mentored review of 35 to 40 cases on workstations, each case chosen with specific learning points
  ·  A workbook to reinforce learning.

Learning Objectives for this course:

  ·  To understand the prostate patient’s journey from suspected cancer to the advanced disease state using the framework of de nable clinical states.
  ·  To know in detail the pathologic states, problems of categorisation and clinical needs of patients in each clinical state in the prostate cancer pathway.
  ·  To understand how imaging can help meet clinical priorities and so promote the personalisation of care in the advancing prostate cancer pathway.
  ·  To show how next generation prostate imaging (multiparametric MRI & MR-directed biopsies) and whole body assessments (whole body MRI & PET/CT) with clinical biomarkers, create opportunities to support and re ne management pathways of patients.
